Machine Learning / AI

Machine learning is a rapidly growing field that has the potential to revolutionize the way we use and analyze video. By using algorithms that can learn from data, machine learning can be used to automatically identify objects and people in video, track their movements, and even predict their actions.

One popular application of machine learning in video is object detection. This involves training a machine learning model to recognize specific objects in a video, such as cars, pedestrians, or bicycles. Once the model is trained, it can be used to automatically identify and track these objects as they move through the video. This can be used for a variety of purposes, such as traffic monitoring, security surveillance, and self-driving cars.

Another application of machine learning in video is action recognition. This involves training a machine learning model to recognize and classify different actions that take place in a video, such as walking, running, or jumping. This can be used for things like monitoring physical activity levels, detecting falls in elderly care, or analyzing sports footage for coaching.

Machine learning can also be used for video summarization, which involves creating a condensed version of a video that highlights the most important or interesting parts. This can be done by training a machine learning model to identify key frames or scenes in a video, and then using these to create a summary of the video.

One of the key benefits of using machine learning in data or video is that it can automatically analyze large amounts of data and make predictions without human intervention. This can save time and resources, and also allows for real-time analysis of your data via analytics and tools to analyze video streams.

At DC WebTech, we are working with several customers in video delivery. We take large amounts of video and transcripts and teach the AI how to present the content in a completely new way. We want higher education to have tools to quickly get to the content that students need to educate themselves. One client has over 18,000 videos that we are fetching and developing a method of not only searching videos for common themes but also developing quotes from videos.
